This Privacy Policy describes how Reel Generator, a desktop application for creating, managing, scheduling and publishing short-form social media content, handles information when you use it.

Connecting accounts

Reel Generator uses OAuth to connect supported social accounts (Instagram, YouTube and TikTok). You choose which accounts to connect. The app only requests the permissions necessary for publishing, account identification and, where enabled, analytics.

Credentials and tokens

Credentials and access tokens are stored locally on your device, using secure system storage where available.

Content and media

Content files are processed locally where possible. Some media may be temporarily uploaded to third-party infrastructure when required by a platform's API in order to publish your content.

Data shared with platforms

Data may be exchanged with Instagram/Meta, YouTube/Google and TikTok only as necessary to provide the features you request. Each platform handles data under its own terms and privacy policy.

No sale of data

Your data is not sold.

Disconnecting and revoking access

You can disconnect accounts in the app at any time. You can also revoke Reel Generator's permissions from the settings of each connected platform.
